Terms of use
Arc: Interval Timer (com.benbasha.arc) · Last updated: September 2026
Using the app
Arc is for personal use: describing, saving and running interval workouts, and viewing your own record of them. Do not use the app for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms others. Do not attempt to circumvent the in-app purchase, and do not redistribute or resell the app.
It is a timer, not fitness or medical advice
Arc counts intervals. It does not prescribe workouts, does not assess your fitness, and does not check that an exercise is safe or appropriate for you. Nothing in the app, including the presets, the workout you describe, the "Progression" option that lengthens a workout you keep finishing, and any streak, best or statistic, is training, dietary or medical advice.
You exercise at your own risk. Consult a physician before starting or changing an exercise programme, especially with a medical condition, an injury, during pregnancy, or if you are new to intense exercise. Stop if you feel unwell. We are not responsible for injury, illness or damage arising from exercise you choose to do while using Arc.
Arc does not connect to Apple Health / HealthKit or Google Fit, and its history is a record of what its timer ran, not a medical or clinical record.
Your data
Your workouts, history, settings and purchase status are stored on your device. There is no account, no server and no cloud copy. Backup, retention, or loss of that data (for example when deleting the app or switching devices) is your responsibility. See the privacy policy for what the app does and does not collect.
Purchases
Arc Premium is a one-time, non-consumable purchase (no subscription, nothing to cancel) made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, at $9.99 or the local equivalent set by the store. The timer itself stays free.
The purchase is a transaction with Apple or Google, not with us. Payment, taxes, receipts, refunds and purchase restoration are governed by the terms of the store you bought from, and refunds are requested from that store; we cannot issue them. Restoring a previous purchase on a new device is free and is done through the store account you bought with.
We may change the price or the contents of Premium for future buyers; a purchase you have already made is not revoked by such a change.
Availability and changes to the app
Arc runs offline and does not depend on a server of ours. We may nonetheless change, update or discontinue features in future versions. Operating-system updates, device limitations, background restrictions or a store's policies may affect behaviour such as Lock Screen controls, widgets or audio cues; those are outside our control.
Warranty
The app is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app is error-free, that a cue will always sound, that a timer will never be interrupted by the operating system, or that a workout you describe will always be interpreted the way you meant it. Always check what Arc understood before you start.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, including a missed or mistimed cue, an interrupted timer, lost data, or injury sustained while exercising. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app.
Children
Arc is a general-audience fitness utility and is not directed at children.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
